  • As a small business owner in District 2, Hampton has personal knowledge of how challenging it can be to start your own business. With rising costs and heavy tax burdens, the results can be devastating to an entrepreneur. 
  • As congressman, Hampton will fight to lower taxes placed on small businesses and limit the regulations imposed.
  • Continue to fight for the right to life.
  • Raised on southern Christian values, Hampton believes that life begins at conception. Although the Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade, the fight to life is not over. Unborn babies are still being murdered in many states across America where abortion is legal. 
  • In order to protect the right to life in Alabama, we must ensure that Alabama remains a pro life state by electing officials who are strong in their Christian values.
  • Strengthen our military and fight for those who fought for us.
  • Supporting our service members, both past and present, is one of Hampton’s main priorities. If elected, Hampton would be the first active-duty military spouse in Congress. Military veterans across Alabama are left to fend for themselves. As Americans, Hampton believes that we have a moral obligation to take care of those who sacrificed everything for us. 
  • Hampton will work to ensure that our veterans and their families are supported by any means possible. Hampton will also work to eliminate woke ideologies in today’s military that are hindering recruitment and weakening our national defense.

  • Our nation has drifted away from both the Christian and constitutional values that our country was built on. Atrocities are being committed every day on young innocent children through indoctrination and grooming. More families are turning away from public schools in District 2 than ever before.
  • Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. As congressman, Hampton will work every day to restore those Christian and constitutional principals in our homes and schools.
  • Ensure that the right to bear arms in not infringed upon.
  • The second amendment clearly states that the “right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” This is a right that is nonnegotiable. Our founding fathers did not grant us this right, but rather created a document restricting the government from ever interfering with this God given right. The government does not have the authority to take away rights that it did not grant. 
  • Hampton believes that the right to bear arms is not limited and will fight to ensure that every individual has the right to protect themselves and their families.
  • Protect our citizens against drugs, human trafficking, election fraud, and violent criminals by securing the border.
  • President Trump has done well in closing the border, but the Democrats have waged war against ICE agents and America First policies. It will take constant opposition against Democrats to keep them from reimplementing their open border policies.
  • Hampton believes that the first step to fighting the opioid epidemic in Alabama is keeping the border secure. Having a strong border will also ensure that we protect our children from the dangers of violent criminals and human trafficking in Alabama.
  • Stimulate Alabama’s economy by bringing jobs to the district.
  • Home to the State Capitol and the ninth largest port in the United States, District 2 has the potential for mass economic growth. The Mobile Port alone provides 1 in every 7 jobs to the state of Alabama. Despite this, Alabama is falling behind in infrastructure. 
  • Hampton will work to bring jobs and opportunities to the district and boost Alabama’s economy.
  • Though Hampton majored in Economics, it doesn’t take a degree to see that Bidenomics and the Democrats sent the prices of everyday items. Many fear they will never own a home. Illegals are taking American Jobs.
  • Alabama has one of the highest utility cost of any state in the US and this affects millions of families. 
  • Alabama is also home to one of the fastest growing ports in the US and manufacturing and related jobs can bring security to residents across the district. 
  • These issues can be alleviated by bringing in jobs, removing regulations, and not allowing government protected monopolies to take advantage of their customers. 
  • Hampton will stand with President Trump on bringing down the cost of living. President Trump’s economic policies have already slowed inflation and brought down prices of many household items while simultaneously increasing real wages for American families. American First and Alabama First policies always.
